Dr. Amit Rai Jain is the second son of son of Shri Suresh Chand Jain and Smt. Urmila Jain. He was born on n 3rd September, 1978. He did his schooling from Nehru Bal Academy which is a renowned school in Baraut, Distt – Baghpat. After that, he completed his High School from Digambar Jain Intermediate College, Baraut. From Janta Vedic Inter College, Baraut, he passed the Intermediate Class from U.P. Board, Allahabad. After this, he done BA from Janta Vedic PG College, Baraut from C.C. S. University, Meerut.
Shri Amit Rai Jain had done M.A. in Five Subjects; Hindi, Political Science, Ancient History, Philosophy and Journalism & Mass Communication. He has also done LLB from Meerut College, Meerut. He has Diplomas in Human Rights and Disaster Management. He has done a Certificate Course in Prakrit Language and has mastered the Pali and Brahmi scripts. He is life member of Numismatics Society of India, Indian Archaeological Society, Rock Art Society of India, Paleo Research Society and Indian History and Culture Society.
Dr. Amit Rai Jain is a married person and the father of a son; Abhyudaya Jain. His wife, Dr. Aanchal Jain is working as Professor in English Dept, Digambar Jain PG College, Baraut.
Dr. Amit Rai Jain is the grandson from the family of Rai Bahadur Lala Nyadar Mal Jain “Rais” Binoli, Baghpat. Lala Nyadar Mal Jain Ji was a renowned person in the age of British Government. This family has a huge rapport in Jain community across India.
There is a great level of respect for this family in Baraut and nearby areas in Western Uttar Pradesh.

He also loves to travel and read books. He is fond of using tech gadgets yet, prefers reading books over ebooks. About digital version of books, he said, “This is really good that we can keep digital version of books. It helps in preserving them for years. No doubt, I appreciate the tech version. But, my first choice is the book in my hand…. I can’t read them on laptop. It disturbs me and I found it tough to focus on the subject of book.”
